Discovery Starter Presets: Get a First Wave Live Fast (Step-by-Step)

You don’t need seven knobs. Use three simple presets, invite a manageable batch, approve the same day, and move them straight into a campaign. This is the “start from zero” play.

1) Quick setup (2 minutes)

  • Open Creator Database and confirm Region/Country filters match where you can actually sell (TikTok Shop markets, Amazon marketplaces, your site’s shipping zones).
  • Create one Starter Campaign or Contract so approvals have somewhere to land (you’ll assign people to it later).
  • Goal for week 1: 8–12 creators live (manageable and fast).

2) Preset #1 — Launch Now (posts this week)

When to use: you’re announcing a product or need quick momentum. Filters to set:

  • Category/Niche: your product’s category (keep it tight).
  • Format: short video preferred (works for fast discovery).
  • Audience size: start with 10k–150k (micro/mid = good responsiveness).
  • Recency/Cadence: active in the last 14–30 days.
  • Engagement quality: set to steady/above typical (avoid spiky one-offs).

Save as: “Launch – <Region>”.

Target volume: shortlist 40–80 creators, plan to invite 15–30 today.

3) Preset #2 — Evergreen (steady weekly orders)

When to use: you want reliable content and sales, not a spike. Filters to set:

  • Category or Adjacent: your niche or a close neighbor that routinely covers it.
  • Audience size: 5k–100k (micro creators post more, convert steadily).
  • Cadence: 3+ posts/week in the last month.
  • Engagement: consistent (not viral spikes only).

Save as: “Evergreen – <Region>”.

Target volume: shortlist 30–60, invite 10–20.

4) Preset #3 — Region-Ready (only markets you can fulfill)

When to use: you must match creators to storefronts (shipping/availability). Filters to set:

  • Country/Region: markets where you’re live (and can track/payout).
  • Add your Category + Audience settings from above.

Save as: “Region – <Market>”.

Target volume: shortlist 30–50, invite 10–20 per market.

5) The 2-minute scan (keep or skip)

Before inviting, spend ~2 minutes per creator:

  • Tone fit: last few posts feel on-brand (not edgy/off-topic).
  • Recent cadence: no big gaps; looks active now.
  • Comment quality: real buyer questions > emoji spam.
  • Quick safety: nothing obviously risky or undisclosed ads.

If it’s green, keep. If not, remove. Don’t overthink.

6) Your 3-line invite (copy/paste)

Line 1: Why them (1 specific reason).
Line 2: Your offer in one sentence (flat/tiered/fixed/hybrid is fine).
Line 3: One link to accept/apply. That’s it.

Batch in waves you can approve the same day. Personalize only line 1; keep lines 2–3 identical.

7) Approve same day → auto-activate

  • Open CRM → Applications, approve yeses with one click (park maybes, say no quickly).
  • Assign to your Starter Campaign/Contract.
  • Creators see their tracking link and optional discount code in their portal automatically. No emailing files around.

8) Week-one targets (simple and realistic)

  • Invites sent: 30–60 (split across your presets).
  • Approvals: 12–20 yeses.
  • Live this week: 8–12 creators posting.
  • Time to manage: ~30–45 minutes/day (approve + assign).

9) If something’s off, try this

  • Low replies: tighten your opener (make “why them” brutally specific) and send a single polite reminder 2–3 days later.
  • Wrong regions sneaking in: re-check Region filters; keep invites per saved view (don’t mix markets).
  • Too many maybes: raise the cadence or recency bar in your preset.
  • Approvals pile up: cut invite volume by one-third and clear the queue daily.
  • Mixed links/codes: keep one campaign per preset/region for clean routing.

10) Make it a weekly habit

  • Monday: refresh saved views, build the shortlist.
  • Tuesday: send invites (Launch + Evergreen).
  • Wednesday: approve + assign.
  • Thursday: second wave from Region-Ready if you need volume.
  • Friday: quick dashboard check; tag early winners for next week.

How this maps to Growi (kept tight)

  • Creator Database → set filters (Category, Audience, Engagement, Region) and save views.
  • Targeted collab invites → send in batches with a built-in application link.
  • CRM → Applications → approve in one click.
  • Campaigns / Contracts → assign instantly; links and optional codes auto-generate.
  • Performance Overview → track across TikTok Shop, Amazon, and Shopify.
  • Pay Creators → pay directly to bank accounts on time.
